I’ve been watching the TV show Arrow from CW recently I think it’s pretty awesome. The best part about seeing all these DC characters come alive is the villains, especially the super badass Slade Wilson AKA Deathstroke AKA Deathstroke The Terminator.
I don’t have a figure of Ollie (the titular Green Arrow) but I do have some of the villains (because they’re Batman villains too) so I decided to do this series titled “Villains of Arrow“.
Today I’m posting some pics of the logo design that I’ve worked on for this new series. At the beginning I made a logo from scratch but it looked like crap so I just used this one from Wikimedia – credits go to Spillik [CC-BY-SA-3.0], via Wikimedia Commons.
Choosing the right font
Picking the right font was also difficult and I even Googled “villain fonts”. I ended up going to my favourite free font site dafont.com but I couldn’t decide which one to use so I made a mock up with six different fonts (font names are in the caption).
